Today after we went to Chuck E Cheese we ran by Ree Ree's house. She lives in a subdivision with just a few rodes so Madi likes to "drive" when we get there. Here are a couple of pictures of she and daddy driving!

We promised Madi if she had a great week back to school we could go to Chuck E Cheese this weekend so today we went! She had a ball! She said her favorite things to do were dance, ride the horse and go down the slide!

Conversation with Madi :)

On the way home from dance last night Madi told me she wanted Old McDonald's...which is McDonald's...so here is the rest of the conversation....
Mom, "Madi, would you like a hamburger or chicken nuggets?"
Madi, "I want ice cream, chocolate ice cream and that's it."
Mom, "You can have some ice cream after you eat dinner."
Madi, "Oh mom, just relax...I just want ice cream...just don't tell dad."

She is quite the character these days. By the way if you ever order her a hamburger from Old McDonald's she likes is with no cheese, pickles or seeds. She calls the onions seeds :)

She did something else really funny this week. She was doing something (can't remember what now) but I said very firmly, "Madi, I am watching you." She turns around, looks at me very serious and says, "I'm watching you too" as she pointed her fingers to her eyes and then pointed to me.....where does she come up with this stuff????

We have had a busy week getting back into our routine! Madi decided Tuesday on the way home from school she was ready to try some vegetables. On the way home, out of no where she says, "Mom, I am ready to try some begtables (vegetables)!" I laughed because I thought..yeah right! But low and behold she has tried broccoli and green beans this week! Now, with that said... it was a little taste and she acted like she ate a whole bowl of each! She also got her first dance recital costume tonight at dance. I think momma may be more excited than her ;) Here are a few pics of Madi getting ready for bed tonight...she loves to fix her hair and read before bedtime.

Back to School, Church and Dance

Well, we had a WONDERFUL Christmas and New Year's! It went by way too fast as usual. This week we went back to work and school. Madi has done great back at school. She was super excited to get back to GLOW at church...she loves going to it. We start back to dance and they will start working really hard on their recital dances. She is also gearing up for her 4th birthday...she is already making several request of things she wants ;)

New Year's Eve 2010

We had a wonderful low key New Year's Eve. We went to the Mitchell's house and had dinner with them and the Cooper's. Madi had a ball playing with all of the kid's and stayed up until 1:30. She is such a night owl!
