Softball

So here is an update on softball...
Madi is still enjoying it but gets really bored in the outfield. She does enjoy playing in the dirt though! She definitely likes the batting part better!

Madi's sweet friend Sophie had her first dance recital and we went to watch. It was before Madi's so it was exciting for her to see those girls up on the stage. She was really excited to take Sophie flowers. I didn't get a very good picture...but we were so proud of Sophie! She did a great job!

Cinco de Mayo

Madi's class celebrated Cinco de Mayo on May 5th!

Circus!

We always love it when Uncle Stacy visits and this time we had tickets to the circus so it was a busy and fun weekend!

The Royal Wedding

Prince William and Princess Kate got married on April 29th...and yes Madi and I both got up around 4:00 a.m. to watch the festivities...how often to you get to see a real princess get married??? Madi thought it was awesome and so did I ;)
For school that day we dressed as if we were attending a royal wedding with our big hats and pearls. Madi wore a hat that belonged to John's grandmother and pearls that belonged to my grandmother.

Easter 2011

Easter was April 24th and we had so many fun things to do and be thankful for this year! Madi had an egg hunt and dyed eggs at school, Uncle Brian came to town and he even helped dye eggs, we went to Sage Meadows for an egg hunt, we went to Reese Riley's house for an egg hunt, went to church and had lunch with ReeRee!
